Since 1960, the Science and Engineering Fair of Houston (SEFH) has promoted the “learning and applications of science and technology” for Texas junior and senior high schools students in Houston and the surrounding 23-county area.  SEFH is a regional fair, associated with the INTEL International Science & Engineering Fair and is one of the largest pre-college STEM activities in the U.S. The contest offers three opportunities for students to enter: a Writing Contest (for grades 7-12), a Poster Contest (for grades 7-12), and a Science Fair Project Contest.

All project deadlines are January 24, 2020.

The event schedule can be found here.

For information on entering or questions, please visit the SEFH website.

Some winning students will be invited to receive additional monetary awards at Energy Day Houston on October 17, 2020.
