The International Sustainable World Energy, Engineering, and Environment Project (I-SWEEEP), is a groundbreaking science competition open to high school students. The inaugural I-SWEEEP academic competition was launched in the spring of 2008 with a goal to bring the best and brightest math and science focused students from around the world to Houston for an Olympiad of epic academic proportions. I-SWEEEP works with local, national, and international science fair organizations to bring together the top-ranking participants and qualifying projects from these competitions.

I-SWEEEP 2016 is in Houston, Texas at the George R. Brown Convention Center from April 26-May 1, 2016. Online Registration for I-SWEEEP 2015 begins October 9, 2015. View the tentative schedule.

Winning students will be recognized at the I-SWEEEP Awards Ceremony and will receive additional awards at Energy Day on October 15, 2016.

Dates and Deadlines for I-SWEEEP 2016

October 9, 2015: Registration starts for I-SWEEEP 2015.

January 30, 2016: Application Deadline for International Individual Applicants

February 27, 2016: Application Deadline for Individual US and Canada Applicants

March 25, 2016: Deadline to submit risk assessment for project supervisors

March 25, 2016: Deadline to submit media release and code of conduct forms for parents

March 25, 2016: Deadline to submit travel details for adult supervisors

April 12, 2016: Project Board Shipments must arrive to I-SWEEEP Dept.
